Walk in the footsteps of historical figures like Catherine the Great and Boris Godunov, then return to the present day with amazing food and nightlife in one of the world’s great cities.


Your tour of Karelia begins in its capital, Petrozavodsk, where nearby Kizhi Island and its open-air museum of remarkable wooden buildings is waiting to be discovered. Standing on Lake Onega, Petrozavodsk itself is a fascinating place to explore. Then we’re off to Kem, stopping at Kivatch Nature Reserve along the way, as well as the Belomorsk Petroglyphs (prehistoric cave art). Don’t forget to visit Solovki Island with its fascinating monastery and kremlin, before returning to Moscow for your flight back home, bursting with happy memories and fascinating tales to share with friends and relations about your fantastic trip!
